Robot welding is the use of mechanized programmable tools (robots), which completely automate a welding process by both performing the weld and handling the part. Robot welding is commonly used for resistance spot welding and arc welding in high production applications, such as the automotive industry.

This is a co-bot welding cell for welding of various kinds of metal components and having high volumes in a general engineering industry where the customer needed the versatility of  quick changeovers and quick programming techniques which were made successful by a Fanuc CrX10iAL collaborative robot and a fronius welding power source. The cell has 3 stations where the user can have multiple kinds of parts and also program them with easy interface and manual guided teaching.The criticality was handling a cobot with welding feed wire harness which gives continuous alarms(external force) while normal operation.
